The Jewel Mama is Giving Back

When I started The Jewel Mama the intention was always to give back to organizations, charities and other causes that were dear to my heart. I am so happy to say that with the support of your sales we have been able to start making donations on behalf of The Jewel Mama. Our first donation was made to the Preeclampsia Foundation.

I think it's so important that every expectant mother know the symptoms of Preeclampsia and Hellp Syndrome. Preeclampsia is a life-threatening disorder that occurs only during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Preeclampsia and related disorders such as HELLP syndrome and eclampsia are most often characterized by a rapid rise in blood pressure that can lead to seizure, stroke, multiple organ failure and death of the mother and/or baby.
